Current enrollment is 140 students. Our teaching faculty is comprised of 20 certified teachers.  The teacher-student ratio is 1:7 with an average class size of 13.

Since 2007, 167 Vanguard students took 361 advanced placement (AP) examinations with 87 percent receiving scores of 3 or higher.  All Vanguard AP students are required to take the AP exam.

Since 2007, Vanguard graduates have been accepted to more than 50 out of state colleges and universities and 17 in the state of Texas including Washington & Lee University, Texas A&M University, Sarah Lawrence College, Princeton University, Rice University, Purdue University and Wake Forest University.
