Vanguard’s class of 2013 includes 16 students.  As a college preparatory school, Vanguard uses a selective admissions process and offers students a rigorous and advanced curriculum.  Because of this selective admissions process, Vanguard’s population is not typical; therefore, Vanguard does not rank students.  Ranking does not accurately reflect a student’s accomplishments and/or capabilities at Vanguard.

Grade Distribution:  At the end of their junior year, seniors’ grade point average (GPA) ranged from 2.938 to 4.615.  They were distributed as follows:

4.0 and above …. 9 students

3.5 – 3.9          …. 3 students

below 3.5       …. 4 students
