The Heritage Campaign Receives Unprecedented Support

“Preserving the Past; Securing the Future”
With an ambitious goal of $4.3 million, the Board of Trustees and other enthusiastic supporters have raised $3 million during the first year of the Vanguard Heritage Campaign. Met with remarkable response, the three-year drive is intended to “preserve the past and secure the future” of the premier college preparatory school in Central Texas.
The centerpiece of the campaign is the restoration and preservation of beloved Building One. The sole remaining historic building on campus now stands as a dignified historic structure as well as a state-of-the-art academic facility. In honor of the generosity of Buddy and Virginia Bostick, the building will now be named Bostick Hall. The library on the first floor will be named The Scott Poage Family Reference Center in recognition of a bequest from Dr. Scott Tabor Poage.
Debt retirement, and creation of an operational reserve are all high-priority items that will be addressed by contributions to the Heritage Campaign. Individuals interested in learning more about the campaign will be welcomed to campus by Bill Borg, Head of School, and Colleen Mahoney, Director of Advancement. Opportunities abound for those wishing to help “preserve the past and secure the future” of Vanguard College Preparatory School. We encourage you to learn more about our efforts by reading the Heritage Campaign brochure or by contacting us directly at the school.
