The Annual 8th Grade Trip was last week! Mrs. Flowers has led this trip since 1990!
This interdisciplinary field trip is to the Texas Gulf Coast towns of Port Aransas, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio.
They study the history of Washington on the Brazos, Goliad and World War II via the U.S.S. Lexington, harbored in Corpus Christi Bay. The students study biology, oceanography, geology, and astronomy via walking the jetty at Port Aransas, a tour of the Texas State Aquarium in Corpus, an afternoon on Malachite Beach, and a day at Sea World of Texas.
Thank you to our wonderful parent chaperones and Mrs. Flowers and Mr. Murillo!
