Basketball wins!

JV BBALL The JV Boys Basketball team jumped back onto the court Thursday night, playing Marlin and looking for their first win of the young season. Uriel Ibarra got the team on the scoreboard quick with some early baskets. Marlin made a run to get back into the game and then it was back and forth for the rest of the game. In the end, the Vikings pulled out an exciting 38-37 victory, with Austin Burch leading the scoring with 13 points.

VARSITY BBALL The Varsity Boys Basketball team also took to the court Thursday night, attempting to put together back to back wins this week, and took on an aggressive and athletic Marlin team. The pace and pressure the Vikings put on Marlin proved to be too much for them to handle, as the guys built and 7 point halftime lead that exploded in the 3rd quarter. Davis Boehm played a great floor game, and ended as the games leading scorer with 18 points. The Vikings are now 2-0 and will return to the court next Friday night at home vs Italy. Great job to both teams and coaches!
