Congratulations to Katie James, Department Chair of the World Languages for receiving the 2023 Kraft Award for Excellence in Secondary School Teaching!

This Classical Association of the Midwest and South Kraft Award for Excellence in Secondary School Teaching awards one outstanding teacher of Latin in public or private schools (middle schools included)!

This is a huge award for our well deserving Katie James. She has taught Latin for 13 years at Vanguard and has a BA and Classics and Musics with a Masters in Music Education.

Congratulations Katie, who will be receiving her award in Utah in April!
