Vanguard tennis played in District in Garland on Monday and Tuesday. The team played a lot of very good and competitive matches against good opponents.
On the boys side Zach won boys singles after only dropping one game in the entire tournament. Anthony and Aldo won district in boys doubles after battling back from a set down in the final. On the girls side McKenna and Karoline played another great tournament and finished second. Karissa came in 3rd in singles, which means she will representing Vanguard at State as well. Overall a lot of great tennis from the Vanguard team and a lot of things to be proud of!
