District win over Bishop Reicher

The Middle School Volleyball Teams wrapped up their home season on Monday night, taking on rival Reicher. The Green team started off the action, and split a pair of games to make it 1-1. In their final set, they started strong but just couldn’t hold the lead falling 2-1. The White team was up next, and got off to some hot starts in their games. Jumping out to early leads put pressure on their opponent, and they were able to close the match out winning 2-0. The Blue team finished off the evening, taking the first set off their rivals, and then ran out to a big second game lead on their way to a 2-0 win. Middle School Volleyball, we are so proud of all 3 teams and their efforts, congrats on your amazing work!

The High School Volleyball teams went over to Reicher for their district showdowns Monday Night, playing a make-up game from a previously scheduled contest. The JV White Team dominated their match, scoring big victories in both sets on the way to another 2-0 district win. The JV Blue lost their first game, but battled back to take the second one to make it 1-1. Then they showed a lot of heart taking the decisive 3rd set in a close contest 15-12, earning their 2-1 win. The Varsity closed out the evening in a match that was critical to the district standings. The Lady Vikings took sole possession of 3rd place with a 3-0 sweep of their rivals. All 3 teams are back in action tonight at Live Oak. Great job HS Volleyball!
