The Vanguard Football Team (4-1,1-0) started district play with a convincing 66-16 win over Austin Hill Country (1-5,0-1) Friday night. The Vikings controlled the momentum from the opening series and never let up during the game. Offensively, the Vikings were led by Luke Wilson (11/18 for 268 yds and 5 TDs), Pierce Snokhous (7 rushes for 140 yds and 3 TDS), and Marlow Welch (4 receptions for 149 yds and 3 TDs). It was great to see every player contribute in this game and for some of them to gain game experience. Thanks goes out to the great crowd that came out and supported these young men Friday night. The Vikings return to action Friday at 5PM as they face off against Round Rock Christian (2-3,1-0). Come out, be loud, and Go Vikings!
