Middle School Scores

The MS Basketball teams competed against St. Louis on Thursday evening at home.  The girls kicked off the night with a wire to wire win over St. Louis 38-20.  Shavey Hobbs led the team with 20 points.  They dominated the boards on their way to victory.  The Boys Green team fought hard but came up on the short end of a 31-19 score.  All of the guys played extremely hard in the contest, but were unable get enough stops to win the game, despite all of the great effort.  The Boys Blue team got the lead in their game, and had to withstand a furious rally to bounce back and take the lead again in the 4th quarter.  James Merchant led all scorers in the game with 23 points, for the Blue teams opening game and victory on the season.  The teams will all break for Thanksgiving before returning to action after the break.  Great job to all the kids!
