Coach Scott Moe has been in education and athletics for 30 years, coming to us from Idaho and Washington. In that time, he has been a head varsity basketball coach for 24 years, winning 432 games. He has also been elected District Coach of the Year 13 times and named State Coach of the Year twice. His teams have won 15 League and District Championships and brought home 5 State Trophies. Coach Moe enjoys seeing students and athletes improve and excel.
As you can see, Coach Moe is passionate about sports; whether it be watching, playing (especially pickleball), or coaching. He has coached football, volleyball, tennis, baseball, and softball. His family loves the Seahawks, Mariners, Huskies, and bring back our Sonics!
Coach Moe’s hobbies include being in the outdoors with hiking, hunting, kayaking, etc. He, and his family (wife Kelley and four children), are excited to be a part of the Vanguard family.
