Scores -MS Tennis 21 – 12 vs South Belton

The Vanguard Middle School Tennis Team played the combined teams of Belton and South Belton Middle School at Belton High School on Monday.

Hamblin, Elizabeth Johnson/Finley McCallie, Elle Morrison/Ella McCallie, and Sabeen Shawbaki/Chris Xolalpa.

Alex and Chris won two matches each for the team. Cash won in the longest match of the day. Adam, Holland, Aubrey, Hope, Elizabeth, Finley, Ezri, and Sabeen also scored wins in singles. Sabeen Shawbaki didn’t lose a game in singles or doubles.

The night ended with Holland in the last match, winning in a tie-breaker with the team cheering for his efforts. The final score was 21 – 12. The Middle School Tennis Team will play again Thursday against Waco middle school teams at MCC.
