Softball Austin Trip

 The Softball team traveled to Austin for its first district road contest of the season.  This team continues to show a lot of toughness, both physically and mentally.  The fought for every base, and despite the score not being in their favor, continued to battle until the final out, as they always do.  The team saw a season-high 9 run scored on offense, and they hit around, scoring runs, and knocking each other in.  Sydney Bednarz and Brailee Welch pulled off a solid double play off of a line drive to highlight the defense.  The girls will return to action next week, with 2 games against Austin Hill Country.  Great job ladies!
