State Tennis – Day 1

The Tennis Team advanced 4 doubles teams and 2 singles players to the semifinals of the TAPPS State Tennis Tournament. Karissa Kuhl who competed in girls singles lost in a close match ending with a tiebreaker to a player from Our Lady of the Hills, Kerrville who went on to defeat the #1 seed. Karch Knoll and Aldo Ibarra advanced in singles. The teams of James Merchant/Zach Henry and Ethan Marsh/Hyrum Blackwelder advanced in boys’ doubles. And the teams of McKenna Lowrey/KK Horner and Courtney Wiethorn/Avery Haynes advanced in girls’ doubles.
