Tennis Match!

The Vanguard High School Tennis Team played China Spring High School JV on new courts at China Spring High School Tuesday evening.  Doubles started off strong, with the team winning 3-1 on the boys’ side and 2-0 on the girls’ side. Aldo Ibarra and Billy Xu, Adrian Northcut and Anthony Foti, Tommy Yin and Jackson Popejoy along with Avery Haynes and McKenna Lowrey and Leang Chhay and Grace Yoon won in doubles. In singles, Avery Haynes won 9-7 on the girls’ side.  Anthony Foti, Billy Xu, Adrian Northcutt, and Tommy Yin scored in boys’ singles. The Vikings won 10-8 in the match. The High School Tennis Team plays again Thursday, Sept 26 against Fort Worth All Saints at Fort Worth All Saints’ courts.
