Vanguard high school tennis team played Temple High School in a close match at Waco Regional Tennis Center on Thursday as they prepare for state on April 10. The team split singles 3-3 with wins from Trey Cofer, Evan Mastin, and Graham Gardner. Graham and Evan also won in doubles, as did Ross Steinbach and Kevin Tang, who secured the match, and the overall team score of 5-4.
