Tennis State! 2nd in State!

Great season for the Vanguard College Preparatory High School Tennis Team. Karch Knoll took third place in a long match, almost taking the #1 seed to a third set. Erik Knoll took second place. Erik came back in the semis from a 1-4 first set deficit to advance 6-4, 6-0, then went 3-6, 2-6 with #1 Lake Country. Trey Cofer and James Merchant dropped only three games in three matches to make it to the finals. In the finals, going up against the #1 seeds, they won the first set 7-5, then dropped two competitive sets 3-6, 2-6.
