Tennis vs Academy

The High School Tennis Team played Academy High School Varsity on the MCC courts Monday afternoon. It was a close match throughout the roster. Doubles’ wins were scored by Ethan Marsh/Hyrum Blackwelder and Avery Haynes/Courtney Wiethorn. In singles, wins were scored by Karch Knoll who won 8-0, Zach Henry, Ethan Marsh, Hyrum Blackwelder, Anthony Foti, and Courtney Wiethorn. The final score was 8-13. Players from the team head to the Corsicana Mertz Varsity Tennis Tournament in the morning and the team plays again on Thursday against Gatesville High School.
