Track in West for MS

The Track team competed in West on Thursday afternoon at the St. Mary’s Invitational. The field events went really well, with a number of kids placing, including Jaxson Burch 2nd in Long Jump, Boyd Estepp 1st in Discus, 2nd in Shot Put, Sabeen Shawbaki 3rd in Discus, and the 8th grade girls sweeping the Medals in the Long Jump with Amelia Livesay 1st/Townlin Starr 2nd/Bentlee Keepers 3rd. As they moved to the running events, the 7th grade girls 4X100M Relay team got 2nd place, as did the 8th grade girls team in the 4X100M Relay. Katie Leigh Livesay got 2nd place in the 800M Run. After that, the bad weather started forcing the end of the meet. Overall, it was a great showing by everyone. The MS and HS will continue again today with their competition in the Live Oak Meet in Riesel.
