Varsity Tennis

The Vanguard High School Tennis Team played China Spring’s Varsity Tennis Team at China Spring High School Monday afternoon. The teams competed with three boys’ doubles teams each. All three matches were very close but the Vikings came up short 0-3. In singles, Ethan Marsh, Aldo Ibarra, Adrian Northcutt, and Grace Yoon won for the Vikings, with Ethan defeated the #1 player who was almost a full UTR rating point above him. The overall score was 4-7. The team plays Gatesville JV Wednesday in Gatesville.
