The Middle School Basketball teams took the court Thursday night against rival St. Mary’s West, and came away with a sweep in both boys and girls games. The Girls Blue team used a strong defensive effort to slowly take control of the game, and once they had control, they never let go, cruising to a 26-10 win. The Boys Blue team got off to a fast start, running the floor well, and playing good defense also, and were able to hang out to a comfortable victory of their own. The Middle School teams will all play again next Thursday, great job Middle School Basketball!

The High School Girls were able to take the court for the first time in a couple of years, opening their season at home against Aggieland Home School. The girls found themselves working on their team chemistry and working hard in the process, but the result was not what they wanted on the evening. They will take the court next Tuesday to continue to build on their opening performance. Great job ladies!
