VARSITY FOOTBALL The Vanguard Football Team (5-1,2-0) overcame rain and unfavorable field conditions to come away with a 46-0 win on Senior Night over the visiting Round Rock Christian Crusaders (2-4,1-1). The Vikings managed to rush for over 200 yards in the game behind great blocking. The defense capitalized on several Crusader mistakes, recovering 7 fumbles (4 by Trevor Leigh) and adding 1 interception. The Vikings will hit the road this week as they travel to Marble Falls Faith Academy (2-5,1-1) Friday night. Go Vikings!

MS FOOTBALL The Middle School Football Team traveled to West on Thursday for their final game of the season, and had to battle the elements with the weather as well as their opponent. Shakir Shawbaki and Andrew Holze each scored on the afternoon for the Vikings, but it wasn’t quite enough as they fell to St. Mary’s in the end. Congratulations to the guys on a great season, and we look forward to the development of these guys in the future!
VARSITY VOLLEYBALL The Varsity Volleyball Team closed out its season on Thursday, hosting Austin Veritas on Senior Night in a wild match. This one swayed back and forth, with both teams putting together runs and winning games until it ended up 2-2 headed to a 5th set. This one also found itself back and forth, with the girls falling just short of a win in its final match. The crowd was electric, so thank you to the students who brought such great energy. Thank you to the girls and coaches for all of their hard work on the season, and special thanks to the Seniors, Kendee Hilliard and Rachel Merchant, along with manager Ria Goyal. Each of these kids brought something special to this team and this program, and they will be greatly missed as they move on after this year. Great effort Lady Vikings!
